1 thinqq- I miss camp a whole lots! ='(
Thursday, I reached school at 6.30 am. I sat at the hall and waited fer time to fly past. ( skips
the boring wait) Finally, at around 7.45, our instructors came. They took attendance and then
gave us a brief introduction of themselves and about camp. My instructor names were
Justin(Nickname: Jessica) and Nisa.After that, we went up the buses and headed to Jalan
Bahtera.When we reached, we sat at the MPH( Multi-Purpose Hall) and waited for the other
classes to arrive... Oh yeah, the bus rides were B-O-R-I-N-G ...It took us around 45 minutes to
reach! Once all the classes arrived at sat down, Chief Eunice gave us a short speech bout the
golden rules of camp. Then , we headed to our dormitories to place our bags down. After putting
our bags down, we went back to the MPH... Mr Tan( It's only my 2Nd time seeing him talking on
stage! ._.") Briefed us about the Maths Trail. After that brief intro, we went around the whole
campsite solving the questions. I have to admit, It was kinda tiring and boring...But I still had
abit of fun running here and there. When the time ended, Hui Ee, Jia Yi, Kim and I went back to
the MPH to hand in our booklet. When everyone reached, Chief Eunice talked bout the next
game called "Kidnapped". As she said, It was fun... Yong so called got "kidnapped". After around
10 minutes, we found him hiding inside a shelter. His hands and legs were chained up. Instructor
Nisa took the chains out and made 6 boys carry him up the staircase and into the MPH. There,
Chief Eunice asked us to say our group cheer. This is how it went: S-O-L-I-D, solid thats what
we are! S-U-P-E-R super thats what we are, Super Solid *clap clap*Solid Super * clap clap*
chikalala pia pia chikalala pia pia(ps for wrong spelling orhs) WARRIORS!... Chief Eunice
congratulated us and told us that we were fouth in place. We were like Woots!! Yay!! (LOLS!)
Then, We went for our first meal, our Lunch. Camp had a rule...We had to say the hungry cheer
before eating our meals... this is how it went. Instructor: Are You Hungryyy? Children: Hungry
Hungry*clap clap* Very very *clap clap*Very Hungry*clap clap* Hungry very*clap
clap*chikalala pia pia chikalala pia pia JIA!( jia means eat) and then everyone will dig in.
Seriously, the food was'nt that good nor that bad... I just did'nt like the cold rice. After lunch,
Justin brought us down to one of the huts. There, we sat down and waited for Justin to say
something. Finally, he told us that we had to do something for our campfire performance. Dance,
Sing or do a skit. First, we chose to sing...So, Justin respected our decision and asked us to wait
while he went up to get his player. When he came down, he played for us some songs. We kept
disagreeing on the song, until he was fed up. He scolded us and told us there wun be any
campfire performance for us anymore. We were all very dissapointed, Some of us tried our best
to persuade him to help us. But none availed. We sat down there waiting for 2 hours, until it was
time for ur rock climbing. Justin brought us down to the place where the rock wall was. I put on
my helmet and harness with the help of Andrea and Nisa. After 2 boys climbed, it was my turn. I
was kinda scared at first as I have a phobia of heights. But, when i started climbing, It turned out
not to be that scary after all. Using all my strength and with the encouragement of the ldrs, I
managed to climb to the top. I think I was kinda brave into not giving up as some of the group 9
pupils gave up half-way. ( I know larhs...Self praise is no praise..but seriously, i think I really
gave my best shot at it) After i reached the ground... I was like, sweating madly.Then i became
Nisa's Anchor Man... Teh job sux u noe... After that, Justin brought us down to hut 7. He said :
Hey, Do ya promise all of u will practise with me and make this campfire performance a success?
Group 10+9 : We promise. So, he started teaching us the dance. I would say... IT WAS DAMN
FUNN! Song was : Upside down. Everyone enjoyed themselves practising. When we were done
practising, Justin and Nisa finally allowed us to bathe. I was super happy cuz my track pants was
covered in mud and i was sweating like mad. I went to bathe, changed into new clothes, waited
for Andrea, Jia Yi , Kim and Hui Ee to finish and then we all went down, back into the hut. There,
Nisa was waiting fer us. When all of us arrived, Justin and Nisa brought us into the dining hall to
eat our dinner. It was a LONqq wait... We only got to eat at around 8pm.. My rice was cold and
kinda hard by then. After eatinqq, we brought 4 chairs down to the campfire area. We sat down
and the campfire started. Mr Tan( principal) was also there. He was given the honour to light up
the campfire using the torch. Wow man! The fire was blazing greatly... 1 group had their
campfire performance , and then it was our turn. Nisa and Justin danced with us. Everyone was
like... staring at us and nothinqq else. (thats what Justin said) After dancing, we did our
cheer(the cheer was almost the same..only that the WARRIORS was changed to 9,10!)
and our 16 claps. Then, we went back to our sits. Performances after performances... Finally,
everyone had performed. Instructor Monster teached us a clap. It was called the Chief Eunice
Clap. Heres how it went. Action: hands make two balls... bigger one below. Then, BOOM! I'm like
LOLS! Then Chief Eunice was like Ahhhhs... and to take revenge, she taught us a monster clap.
*clap* grrrrr I'm still like HAHHAHAHHS...lols=X All the instructors then taught us a new song
called:Little Green Frog. Heres how it went. Mm hm goes a little green frog 1 day, Mh hm goes a
little green frog, Mm Hm goes a little green frog 1 day and they all go hm mm WAHHH. And all
the frogs go *clap* sha lalalala *clap* shalalala *clap* shalalala, and all the frogs go *clap*
shalalala , And they all go mm hmm WAHHH. That was fun! lmaos.__." It was around 11.15
everythinqq ended.Then, we went carried the chairs up back to the dining hall and then ate our
supper( I did'nt take it as i was'nt hungry) I went up to my dormitry and rolled out my sleeping
bag. Waited for my fwenz and then around 12.30 went to sleep. At around 2.30AM, I was
awoken by the 5.6 gals who were chatting among themselves. I was kinda furious... But at least
Daphane said sorry for waking me and Wen Fang up. I replied: It's okayy... Then, Me and Wen
Fang took out our booklets to do...Then, suddenly, we heard a male instructor shouting: Go to
sleep girls! Stop talking! I can't go up ur huts as i have to repect ya gals but i have instructors
who can! Hut 4 was like giggling away. When he said: STOP LAUGHING AND GO TO SLEEP!
Bunny thinks it was cold stuff( Hot stuff doesn't sound nice for himm..hee=X) So, I tried to go and
sleep... At about 3.30, I managed to sleep for half an hour or so... I woke up at 4+, Packed my
bag and waited for the rest to wake up. At 6.50, Me and Hui Ee went to brush our teeth and
change into our PE attires.After that, we went back to our huts and packed our sleeping bags and
stuff. The air was brisk and cool. ( okok..I was FREEZINNGG) We went to the carpark to wait
for our instructors. Nisa finally appeared, she collected our booklets and brought us to the dining
hall for our duty. I was like..standing beside Andrea... Giving out packets of Nasi Lemak. I kept
saying: Hold properly arhs...Hold properly arhs... Andrea and I were like: OMqq...Hope they dun
drop sia :O ... I also said to Andrea: Bu yao qiang wor sheng yi lehs...(dun steal my business) as
she was giving to the people who I wanted to give to...After tat, We exchanged duty with the 5.6
pupils and went to eat our own breakfast. Truthfully, Breakfast was the best! After eating, we
did our duty at the clearing or rubbish area(Omqq..smelly lehs) After everyone left, we started
cleaning the tables and chairs. I also took up the broom to sweep some stuff... When it came to
one part I was like: EWW!!! there was a lizard squirming about without it's tail... I'm
like..ANDREAA LOok at This! I swept it up and then threw it into the filthy dustbin. Just then, I
saw Mr Tan walking around with his coffee...I rushed to my bag and took out my teacher's day
card. He was like...Thankk youu, but cud u give it later? My hands are oily at e moment. I was
like...c'mon, Just take it... I placed it into his hands and ran away.I went to where Justin and
most of us were. I took up one of the container covers and lined up. When it came to my turn, I
held up the cover, and Justin washed it. While washing, he sprayed water on me... That
happened to all of us who helped. We were all wet. No fear! We took revenge on Justin.. We took
out our waterbottles and chased after him, wetting him throughly. Everyone was like: HAHA(:
Justin was soaking wet. Then, we took the dustbins out to the road, where there was even bigger
Rubbish bins. We helped Justin to pour the rubbish inside, and then went back to the dining hall.
After that, Justin was wif a gal instructor, and then he said: Wet her... Everyone of us chased
after her, and finally , she was as wet as Justin xD Hahas! When everyone was done with their
area cleaning, we settled in the MPH... Chief Eunice gave out prizes for the best boy + gal and the
best team. Guess what? 5.7's group 11 won the best team prize! xD Congratz ni men! The day
just ended like that.We went back to school, and then went home. Now, I really miss camp,
Justin + Nisa... I really wish i had remembered to take down their phone numbers. Hope I'll see
them again ... If I cud turn time back, I would really want to turn in back to camp time. Fond
memories will be kept in my heart<3...sniiff>

Waaahs!Just finished the CA2's... Lets say im not too happy about my results and not too dissapointed with them.
English : 42 marks (Same marks wif Zane...TT)
Maths : 35 marks (Same marks as the practice class test paper)
Chinese: 35 marks (Woots! I reached my goal!)
Science : 31 marks (Mr Tan said I was writing rubbish...I think he's right TT)
I hope that I'll be able to do better in my SA2 later this year. I also hope that I'll be able to get myself to sit down and revise my work instead of playing the computer for e whole day. Haiz...There's still the Science practical test on Tuesday...I think I'll find it very difficult, as I sux at experimental things....=( Anyways, All the best to all of ya people who at least take the initiative to come and visit my blog! Hmm, Lets say I dun really know much about the Olympics...I just know that it is about teamwork,
integrity and using their best efforts to try and win a medal for their country/nation.
I've watched the Olympics before on teebee. Usually i find the Olympics kinda boring except for a few sports. Such as running, gymnastics, hammer throw and others.
I think Tao Li impresses me the most as she is a really persistent swimmer who never gives up. Using her best efforts in the Olympics has given her the one in a million chance to get the 5th position among 48 other swimmers. Her passion for swimming is really great!
If one day, I could participate in the Olympics...I would really like to participate in the basketball matches as basketball has always been my game.
I'm very sure it's worth organising the Olympics as there are many people waiting out there to give a shot at it. Even if they dun get a medal like Jia Wei(Won the silver medal in table tennis), they have still done their very bests and have made their country proud of them! Wishing Singapore all the best in the Olympics 2008! (: Jia y0us orhs!
